Making The Waterdrop Phone Wallpaper
This is a simple wallpaper to make and it uses techniques that I use in many projects.  It was mostly done it Photoshop, but I did use Firefly for one image.  I am including all but one of the images in case you want to make your own and experiment! The one I cannot include as it was one I purchased and is not mine to give out.
First thing I did was go to Firefly and used the prompt - "An intricate scene where a single drop of water, magnified, contains an entire Christmas village. Inside the drop, a snowy forest with trees decorated for Christmas, snowing."  It took a couple tries to find the one I liked best but here is the image I liked best (and this is available for download.)

I didn't upscale this one so it can't be used at too large of a size, but it is a free download if you want to use it for your own project.  You are also welcome to use the prompt and create your own picture!
I removed the background in Photoshop so I was left with the waterdrop.
In Photoshop I created a watercolor background which you can also download if you would like to use.
I added 3 layers of the waterdrop for a slightly different coloring.  You can experiment or your don't even have to add all 3 layers.  I love adding layers and adjusting the layer blend mode - sometimes you can create some pretty cool things!
For the layers, I only copied the masked waterdrop not the watercolor background.  So if you are following along, add your masked waterdrop to the background.  Copy it twice - be sure to have it selected in the layers panel and hit - ctrl (or cmd) + C and paste it - ctrl (or cmd) + V.  Paste it twice so now you have 3 waterdrop layers.

For layer 1 I set the layer blend mode to luminosity.  You can try different modes to see what you like!
Layer 2 of the waterdrop I set the layer blend mode to pin light.  Again, try different ones to see what you like.
And Layer 3 I set the blend mode to darker color.
And lastly I added a border.  I cannot add the border I used as a download, I purchased rights to use it but not to share it for others to download.  There are many frame options available or you can make your own! If you really like the one I used here, I purchased it on Creative Fabrica.  This designer has some cool ink matte borders you may like, it came in a bundle of 10.  This is an affiliate link, but it is the designer I purchased three ink matte bundles from and I really like them!
I added the black background to make this unusable to protect the original designer's design, but this white frame is the one I added to the top layer to complete the look.

Now that you see how simple this one is, you can try it yourself or even create something completely different!

You may use the downloadable assets in this project for personal or commercial use - you can use them in any project for commercial use, but you may not sell the original files.
